Blitter, a new app that launched Friday, October 6th that seeks to be an exclusive space for Black Twitter, is currently trending on the traditional Twitter network. The reactions to the app launch have been mixed. Black Twitter has accepted the app for all of it's flaws and willing to power through the app's beta version in hopes that the support will help get the app to the next level.
Some issues are to be expected, since this app doesn't seem to have been created by any team of professional developers and the company hasn't raised any seed rounds. This is all speculation though due to the fact the app seems so bootstrapped. Some of the common issues are about the app crashing, DM's getting deleted, uncensored photos, troll accounts, and other functionality issues. Despite all of headaches people are still using the app and it's reached top 20 social networking apps in the iTunes Store.
What do you think about Blitter? Are you gonna give it a shot? Is there a problem with Black Twitter separating itself from the rest of Twitter?
